ChatGPT Desktop · phone browser · Early development

A plugin that lets ChatGPT see your workbench. Join a phone from its browser with a QR code and PIN, then ask for the view you need. Designed for voice chat where your account has it; typing works too.

Open source (Apache-2.0), built on Groundlight’s framegrab-mcp-server. Runs in a Codex task in ChatGPT Desktop. Not yet in OpenAI’s plugin directory; not affiliated with OpenAI.

Know what to pick. And what to pay. Photograph a table or shelf at an estate sale, yard sale, flea market or thrift store and get item-by-item decisions and suggested buying limits. Your phone does the first look: before cloud analysis it pixelates detected faces (except on trading-card grids), strips location data and blurs personal text (best-effort), and it reads barcodes against bundled book and music lists.

Free to install. Cloud analysis uses your own Gemini API key, or Picania Plus, an optional paid monthly subscription (coming soon).
